| How
to Get Your Lover Back Is it over? I mean, is it really, really over? Yeah of course your friends are telling you to move on, that you can do better than your ex-girlfriend. But they don't know her like you do. She understood you, she loved you like no one else ever dared, and you took her home to meet Mom and Dad on Thanksgiving. Wouldn't it just prove to your parents that lesbian relationships are transient and unstable if you showed up for Christmas without your latest beau in tow? The bottom line is this: It doesn't matter why you want her back; you just do. And it doesn't matter what other people think about you pining over your lost love; they will see the light when she is back in your arms. So, now that you've decided to get your woman back at any cost, you need a solid game plan. Let me help. The first thing that you should avoid after any temporary breakup is becoming an annoyance. I know you have the urge to call every five minutes to see where she is at. And I know that your ex's mother can be a great source of information. But let's be realistic here. Do you think she's already seeing somebody? I mean, it's only been 2 hours since your breakup? So, here's what you do: Do not call your ex-girlfriend for at least 3 days after she drops the bomb. If you call, it makes you look needy, and needy is not attractive. Not only that, your absence may make her come to her senses and realize that she can't live without you. If you keep calling every hour on the hour it will only reinforce the reasons why she can and will live without you at any cost. This rule includes calling family members and friends. Do not do it. I don't care if you have to Duck tape your cell phone shut and pull the plug on all the phones in your home. Do not call for any reason. After at least three days have passed, you can call just to see how she is doing. Keep it short and polite. Avoid questions like, "Are you seeing anyone?" Emphasize that you care about her and want what's best for hers. If she's missing you, she will tell you. If she says she's never been happier, say that you are happy for her and try to sound sincere. No, this isn't the end of the line, she just hasn't had enough time to thaw yet. The most important thing is to get on with your life while your waiting for your ex-girlfreind to come around. The greatest revenge is happiness. Wouldn't it be sweet justice if she saw you having the time of your life at the local club instead of pouting at home where she expects you to be? The truth is that getting on with your life is the best way to use human psychology to your advantage. You see, no one likes to be the rejected one, and you getting on with your life can make your ex feel like she was rejected and not the other way around. This could actually result in her chasing you to mend the relationship instead of you chasing her. And never, ever put down your ex-girlfriend to another human being. I don't know why it is so, but it seems like anything negative you say will reach your ex's ears 10 times faster and 10 times more often than anything good you say. So, be sure to only say kind words about your ex. Being called a selfish bitch does not really make a woman want to come home and cuddle up with you, especially if she gave her all to the relationship. After you have been contacting your ex occasionally (no more than 1 time per week) for about a month, you can go out on a limb and ask her out on a date. If she accepts, use this opportunity to show her that you've changed. If she left because you had a roving eye, keep all of your attention on her for the evening and shower her with affection. If she left because you gave her too much attention, pull back a little and create a more casual atmosphere. At no time should you say, "I've changed." Saying this aloud will only make your ex think that you are putting on a show to win her back. Let her notice the changes herself. Don't expect a miracle overnight. It may take you months or even a year to gain your ex's confidence again. And keep in mind that through all of this, I'm assuming that you've done something to cause the breakup. If your ex is the one to blame, it may be extremely difficult to make her change her ways. In fact, it may be impossible. Here are just a few of the signs that you should stop trying to get your lover back: · Another woman answers the phone when you call. · Her mother tells you to stop harassing her girl. · You get served with a restraining order. · She runs every time she sees you even if it means that she has to hurdle over little old ladies. · She changes her phone number, chat room id's and wears a wig. · You get an invitation to her wedding. · She dies in a tragic accident but no body can be found. Oddly someone who looks just like her was captured briefly by news cameras at the airport when they were reporting on the holiday traffic congestion. · Getting her back is consuming your life and you don't even care if that hottie down at the bookstore asked for your number before she sped off in her BMW. Just as you should know when to stop trying to get your lover back, you should also know when you should not want your lover back. Here are just a few signs that prove that you are better off without her: · She hits you. · She's cheating on you (before the breakup). · She's lied to you and went behind your back for any reason. · She's spreading rumors about you all over town. · She stole from you. · You see any of the signs you should stop trying to get her back. After all, you don't need anyone that doesn't want you. Remember, when you're trying to get your lover back, take it slow. Try not to send too many cards, emails and romantic correspondences shortly after she starts to thaw. And if you see any signs that you should not be trying to get her back, turn around and ask that BMW hottie for her number. After all, you CAN do better than your ex.
